### Notice

- Customers using `RecordDatastoreSegment()` with a custom vendor name will see metric names change from `Datastore/*/Other/*` to `Datastore/*/<VendorName>/*`. Update any dashboards, alerts, or queries that reference the old Other-based metric names. ([f6c0e48](https://github.com/newrelic/newrelic-dotnet-agent/commit/f6c0e483e00bbaa17a5b44aa3c8b9d07c5c41e91))

### Fixes

- `RecordDatastoreSegment()` API will correctly use the caller-supplied vendor name instead of ignoring it. ([f6c0e48](https://github.com/newrelic/newrelic-dotnet-agent/commit/f6c0e483e00bbaa17a5b44aa3c8b9d07c5c41e91))
- Ensure all StackExchange.Redis segments are created and added to transaction before it is harvested ([#3574](https://github.com/newrelic/newrelic-dotnet-agent/issues/3574)) ([4152ea2](https://github.com/newrelic/newrelic-dotnet-agent/commit/4152ea25b23318c68d372447c905c622ac5ac868))
- Update MySql.Data instrumentation to support 9.7.0 signature changes ([#3562](https://github.com/newrelic/newrelic-dotnet-agent/issues/3562)) ([1e40e44](https://github.com/newrelic/newrelic-dotnet-agent/commit/1e40e44e89ab3f5c1af540a9aa30c6e1fa6a30e3))

### Updating your agent

- Follow standard procedures to [update the .NET agent](https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/agents/net-agent/installation-configuration/update-net-agent).
- If you're using a particularly old agent, review the list of major changes and procedures for [updating legacy .NET agents](https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/apm/agents/net-agent/installation/update-net-agent/#updating_older_net).

We recommend updating to the latest agent version as soon as it's available. If you can't upgrade to the latest version, update your agents to a version no more than 90 days old. Read more about [keeping your agent up to date](https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/new-relic-solutions/new-relic-one/install-configure/update-new-relic-agent).
See the New Relic .NET agent [EOL policy doc](https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/apm/agents/net-agent/getting-started/net-agent-eol-policy) for information about agent releases and support dates.
