Use VegaTracker to monitor video playback in your Amazon Fire TV (Vega OS) application. VegaTracker captures video events and sends them to New Relic as entities, giving you visibility into playback quality across Fire TV devices. With device info enabled, you can filter and facet your video data by real Fire TV device model and OS version in NRDB.

> #### ⚠️ IMPORTANT
>
> VegaTracker sends data through New Relic's mobile pipeline. The `applicationToken` is a mobile application token — distinct from a browser license key. You obtain it separately in [Install the tracker](#install).

## Prerequisites [#prerequisites]

Make sure you have:

- A New Relic [account ID](https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/accounts/accounts-billing/account-setup/account-id)
